Toys on my desk at work…

“Hey hey, we’re the Monkees!”  Yes, it’s the one, the only Monkee Mobile!

“Holy Hot Wheels, Batman!”  It’s the 1966 Batmobile, my favorite one.

“Go Speed Racer, go!”  The one and only Mach 5.

“Danger, Will Robinsion!  Danger!”

  1. I think my blog is boroke (i mean my browser) as I can’t see this blog, or what I’m typing (DAMN YOU MICROSOFT!!!!)

  2. Funny you should post this today…I have been thinking all day about reclaiming the youth within me.  The one who got on a bus and went to LA at 17 and was going to be a star, Or the one that filled up my gas tank and said where ever I run out of gas that where I will live.  The young woman who defied the church and decided that I wanted children and not get married.  The woman who was fearless and adventurous!  This is what I need to bring home to my art…the joyous, fearless, delight and awe of a child.  I loved the Monkies…all of them at different phases.  And of course Batman but it was Boy-wonder that I panted after.  Great post.

  3. Okay, I came back, not that I’m not ‘in the dark’ (okay, yes, that comment only applies to Xanga… And this page (LOL)). Those are some cool toys, ESPECIALLY the Mach 5!
“Go, go, go, go-go Speed Racer – He’s a demon on wheels… He’s a demon and he’s gonna be chasin’ after someone!”

  4. That Mach 5 is a genuine Hot Wheels car, but because of licensing issues they can’t sell them in the USA … I had to buy it via eBay from a kid in Japan.Out of those thousands of cars I used to have, these are the only ones I kept.
